Catering By Eileen's Delites
How did EILEEN’S DELITES come about? While growing up in Brooklyn, New York, I wasn’t interested in watching my mother cook and my aunt bake. But, I was sure good at eating everything that was prepared. As a single gal living in Manhattan, I would call my cousins to tell me, step by step, how to cook or bake one of their special recipes, only because I wanted to impress the person I was dating. And then as a stay-at-home Mom, I had the time to experiment with recipes, enjoying cooking and baking and being appreciated by my family, friends, neighbors and my daughter’s friends for my efforts.
Then as a single Mom I no longer had the time, the luxury of time and the finances to enjoy the pleasure of cooking and baking. But, for me, life has many wonderful twists and turns. As my daughter grew and my career secure, I was able to enjoy my passion for cooking, baking and entertaining.
One year ago, I decided that it was time to follow my dream; I left the professional business world and pursued my compassion of bringing happiness to others with my cooking and baking delights, and officially forming “Catering by Eileen’s Delites”. I have learned from my mistakes and have grown as a caterer and business woman. I
have provided catering for large buffet receptions (200 and 250 guests) including hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and delectable sweets, as well as luncheons in private homes. At the request of a Mom, I now prepare dinners for working families . A teenager asked me to prepare individual trays of his favorite cookies to fill basketball gift baskets for his special party. These are only a few of the wonderful pleasures I have experienced this past year as “Eileen’s Delites”.
Because of the wonderful reception that my endeavors have received, I look forward to bringing “Eileen’s Delites” into your lives and helping to relieve you of a little bit of stress and bringing a smile to your face. |
